Yizumi Donates to Constructing Another Non-profit Football Field

Abstract:

April 27, 2015, James Zhang, on behalf of Yizumi, signed with the Government of Ronggui, finalizing that Yizumi shall donate to the construction of a football field. Officials of the local government, chairman and managing director of Yizumi also presented at the signing ceremony.

On the signing ceremony, Yizumi donated additional 3 million yuan for the construction of a new 7-player standard football field and supporting facilities, including a parking lot that accommodate more than 100 cars. It is the second time that Yizumi has voluntarily donated to sports facilities since the first donation to building Yizumi Sports Park in BOT (Build－Operate－Transfer) mode in 2012. The sports park, taking a total investment of 30 million yuan, consists of an exercise plaza, a football field and tennis and basketball courts. The outdoor fields have been put into use and the stadiums are under construction. They are expected to put into use in July 2015."Yizumi Sports Park mainly benefits employees working in high-tech industrial park and residents living around it. The sports facilities, the football field in particular, are very popular and often unavailable.” said Deputy Managing Director James Zhang. So Yizumi decided to spend 3 million yuan to build another football field to meet the needs of more citizens, better serve the staff and give back to the community as a local enterprise.

The new football field covers an area of about 10,000 square meters, and construction is expected to be completed next year. Like the sports park in use, the new facility is non-profit. The charges will be lower than the market price and they will be used for daily maintenance of the football field.
